Fayla Lindsey Ott resides in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. She has been married to her real-life hero for eighteen years, and together they have two handsome boys. She also has two grown stepsons, and one adorable granddaughter. She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland, and with a master’s degree in English from National University in 2013. She also holds a first degree black belt in a Korean martial art called Tang Soo Do. Fayla sometimes teaches English college courses as an adjunct instructor, but she primarily writes, home schools her two sons and helps her husband run their martial arts school. Fayla also enjoys learning guitar and spending time outdoors, and with her family, enjoying all of the beauty and activities of her community. She enjoys being involved in her local church by singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday school. Fayla’s favorite Christian author is Francine Rivers who has influenced her own mission for writing. Her prayer is that readers will discover the same hope she has in Jesus Christ through her fictional stories and characters. She is thankful God gave her a passion that she can use for His glory.
